Baba Rahman’s Goal For POAK Trends

POAK defeats Young Boys in the Europa League thanks to a goal from in-form Baba Rahman.

Baba Abdul Rahman, a defender for Ghana, scored his first goal in the Europa League to help PAOK defeat Young Boys handily.

POAK won 4-0 at Toumba Stadium thanks to a spectacular finish from the former Chelsea left-back in the 76th minute.

Baba Rahman also helped out during the really entertaining interaction. Nine minutes into the second half, the 31-year-old gave the first goal to Alessandro Bianco.

Eight minutes later, Giorgos Giakoumakis doubled the lead, and in the 72nd minute, fellow countryman Giannis Konstantelias increased it to 3-0.

After Young Boys’ Armin Gigovic was sent off in the sixth minute, POAK had a man advantage for the most of the game.

After four games in the new campaign, the win puts the Greek team in tenth place in the UEFA Europa League standings.

After an outstanding season, Baba Rahman may return to the senior national squad prior to the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

He has scored two goals and has two assists in 15 games across all competitions.
