With Bulgarian powerhouse FC Ludogorets Razgrad, Ghanaian attacker Bernard Tekpetey has won another league championship.
After his team defeated Cherno More in the Championships playoffs, the 27-year-old Bernard Tekpetey, who has missed the majority of the season due to an anterior cruciate ligament damage, saw his team crowned winners.
In his five seasons with the team, Tekpetey has won his tenth trophy and experienced league success each time.
Olivier Verdon started the score just before halftime in the championship match against Cherno, and Swiss-Ghanaian Kwadwo Duah then clinched the win for the Green Eagles.
The former Schalke O4 star is expected to join his teammates on Saturday at the Ludogorets Arena before their match against Levski to celebrate their latest triumph.
Meanwhile, this season, the pacy winger has made seven appearances across all competitions, scoring two goals for the club.
Tekpetey is still on his way to full fitness and will be expected to play a key role at the Bulgarian club next season.
