When Sampson started his job, he saw Fuseini’s promise but was told she had a physical problem that was preventing her from reaching her full potential.

Her surgery was postponed due to financial difficulties, I was informed. I contacted the President of the GFA, who promised that the Medical Fund will take care of it,” he said.

The midfield player has been cleared to return to full training after missing the team’s most recent camp due to rehabilitation. “It’s refreshing to see her again,” said Sampson, who was happy to see her return. The GFA deserves praise for its dedication to player welfare.

As part of initiatives to enhance player health and safety, the GFA Medical Fund has provided support to a number of national players, including Barikisu Abdul-Rahman, Uwaisa Mawia, Linda Minta, and Sandra Atinga.
