Appiah is anticipated to spearhead the National League South team’s offensive in the forthcoming season as they aim to advance to England’s top leagues.

“I cherished starting my career here and it was a really important ingredient in coming back. I’m extremely proud of that journey because it set me up to be the person I am today and set me on my way,” he said after sealing the deal.

“Now I’m hoping to achieve a very successful season for the team and the club… and it’s why I’m driven to score goals and to drive the standards around the club. It’s going to be a really solid group with a good dynamic.”

Before leaving Ebbsfleet as a teenager in 2009, he made five appearances scoring a goal for the club.

He featured for several clubs in England including Crystal Palace but injuries affected his time in the Premier League.

Appiah had a brief stint in India, where he played for NorthEast United FC.
