In addition to helping young girls improve their football skills, the program gave them the confidence and inspiration to play the game. The GFA also carried out the Women’s Football Strategy’s “Education” pillar in addition to on-field initiatives. Girls were inspired by the inspirational success stories of local and international female football players and taught on dispelling social stereotypes about women in the sport.

In order to promote constructive communication and establish a school climate where girls are encouraged to play football as part of their overall development, instructors and head teachers were involved and encouraged.
