Abdul Aziz Issah, a forward from Ghana, has returned to Barcelona Atletico on a new loan agreement that will keep him there until June 2026.
Despite a strong start, the 19-year-old only made two appearances during his first season on loan at the Spanish team from Dreams FC in 2024–2025.
Abdul Aziz Issah’s return to Ghana was made possible by Barcelona’s initial refusal to exercise the purchase option in his contract. But new negotiations have led to a new deal that allows the adolescent to go back to Catalonia.

Issah gained notoriety following an outstanding 2023–24 CAF Confederation Cup season with Dreams FC, in which he scored four goals and contributed two assists in ten games.
His long-range strike against Lobito was nominated for CAF Goal of the Year.
Despite limited minutes in Spain, Issah’s form with Ghana’s U20s and a senior debut at the Unity Cup in May 2025 kept him in the spotlight. He scored Ghana’s opener in their U20 AFCON quarterfinal against Egypt and earned a Man of the Match award earlier in the tournament.
Barcelona Atletic will be hoping the second spell provides better opportunities for the promising Ghanaian forward.
