Forson Amankwah, who made his senior national team debut a year ago, is hoping to participate at the Mundial next year with four matches remaining in the qualifications.

“Definitely, I’m dreaming of going to the World Cup because if you’re a football player, especially a young player playing in the World Cup says a lot,” he told Flashscore.

“I think it’s really good to be part, because I want to be part, so I need to do everything to be part of the squad,” he added.

Before finishing their qualifying round against Comoros and the Central African Republic in October, Ghana will play Matchdays 7 and 8 against Chad and Mali in September.

With 15 points, the four-time African champions are presently leading Group I.
