Kurt Okraku: In order to apprehend Pooley’s killer, we need to maintain the chase and tempo.

Kurt Okraku, the president of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), has urged more work to be done to apprehend the murderer of Kotoko supporter Nana Pooley.

Earlier this year, Pooley was fatally stabbed during a league game between Kotoko and Nsoatreman, causing widespread indignation.

During a Metro TV appearance, Okraku emphasized the significance of keeping up the momentum in the fight for justice. “To bring Pooley’s killer to justice, we need to maintain the chase and pace,” he said.

Okraku’s remarks demonstrate the GFA’s continued dedication to resolving safety issues in the football community. The league was suspended as a result of the incident, which also raised awareness of football violence and hooliganism.

The GFA, in partnership with relevant authorities, has been working on improving security measures at matches to prevent further incidents.

The GFA president urged all stakeholders, including the police and football clubs, to continue their efforts in ensuring the safety of fans and players alike.
