
Former Arsenal footballer Thomas Partey arrives at court to face rape charges
Thomas Partey, a former football player for Arsenal, has shown up at the court where he is scheduled to face on allegations of sexual assault and rape.
The 32-year-old Ghanaian midfielder is accused of sexual assault against a third woman in addition to five counts of rape against two other women.
The alleged offenses occurred between 2021 and 2022 while he was a member of Arsenal, a club in north London.
On Tuesday morning, Partey hurried past members of the press as he entered Westminster Magistrates’ Court while sporting a navy jacket and a black zip-neck jumper.

Partey’s lawyer Jenny Wiltshire previously said he “denies all the charges against him”, adding he welcomed “the opportunity to finally clear his name”.
