Asamoah Gyan, Ghana’s all-time leading scorer, has urged the Black Stars to put forth their best effort in order to guarantee their spot in the upcoming FIFA World Cup, which will take place in the USA, Canada, and Mexico next summer.
Ghana presently leads Group I by three points and needs just four more points from the remaining six games to qualify.
Given the little amount of time they have to get ready for the upcoming important games, all 24 of the invited players have already arrived and begun practicing in Meknes.
Former Black Stars captain Asamoah Gyan, who has played in three World Cups and still remains Africa’s highest scorer at the competition, has tasked the current team to wrap up the qualification by winning their subsequent games to get the job done.
Ghana will face Central African Republic on Wednesday October 8 in Meknes, Morocco, before they return home to play Comoros in Accra on Monday October 12.
