In a dramatic Premier League match on Saturday, Jordan Ayew came off the bench to save Leicester City and salvage a vital point against Ipswich Town.

Leif Davis gave the home team the lead in the 55th minute after the first half ended without a goal.

In the 77th minute, Kalvin Phillips was sent off after receiving a second yellow card, giving Leicester City a numerical advantage as they pushed forward determined to equalize.

Because of this change, the Foxes were able to step up their offensive.

During injury time, Jamie Vardy passed to Ayew, who was brought on in the 86th minute and had a big influence. In the 90+4 minute, he scored the equalizer, guaranteeing Leicester City a crucial point.

Since joining Leicester earlier in the season, Ayew has scored two goals in the Premier League. His countryman Fatawu Issahaku, who was first doubtful for the game, played the entire ninety minutes.

With 10 points from 10 games, Leicester City is still in 15th place on the Premier League table, while Ipswich Town is still looking for their first victory of the year after the draw.

Crystal Palace, an English club, lauded Jordan Ayew for his incredible hat trick in Ghana’s 2026 World Cup qualifier against the Central African Republic on Monday night.

The 32-year-old forward scored his second international hat-trick at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium, helping the Black Stars to a thrilling 4-3 victory on match day four of the qualifiers.

Crystal Palace celebrated Jordan Ayew’s outstanding performance on their official X page, writing, “Jordan Ayew .” “A hat-trick and a win,” accompanied by three applauding emojis and the Ghana flag.

The Crystal Palace attacker scored in the sixth, 60th, and 69th minutes to help Ghana win and go to the top of the group in the qualifiers’ fourth encounter.

Ayew’s first hat trick for Ghana occurred in a pre-World Cup friendly against South Korea in 2014.

Jordan Ayew came on as a sixth-minute substitute for the injured Majeed Waris in that friendly and made an immediate impression.

He scored just five minutes later, converting a cross from his brother Andre Ayew.

He added a long-range shot in the 53rd minute and finished his hat trick in the 89th minute with a poacher’s finish in the box.

This latest feat helped the four-time African champions secure their second consecutive win under Coach Otto Addo.
