Footage has emerged showing Manchester United fans fighting in the stands during the club’s pre-season friendly win against Arsenal.

Manchester Uniteddefeated their Premier League opponents 2-0, with two goals from Bruno Fernandes and Jadon Sancho.

The result was followed by a penalty shootout, which the Red Devils also won 5-3, giving Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta food for thought.

The game was played in front of an 82,500-person maximum crowd at New Jersey’s MetLife Stadium.

However, there was further fighting in the crowd when tempers erupted on the pitch between Lisandro Martinez and Martin Odegaard.

Shocking footage has caught fans, who appear to be wearing Arsenal shirts, throwing huge punches and even one fan trying to take another’s shoe off.

It left several people bleeding and others on the stadium steps, while others interfered and hurled more blows.

Staff removed individuals guilty away from their seats and, presumably, off the ground as the wrath subsided.

This all happened as the game was still being played live on a screen in the video.

The cause of the incident is unknown, however it appears to have included a group of Arsenal fans.

Manchester United

According to the Daily Mail, Manchester United is making a £55 million bid for Chelsea attacker Mason Mount.

Erik ten Hag’s first priority for the upcoming summer transfer window is Mount, and the Manchester United manager wants a deal to be completed swiftly. The future of the England international at Stamford Bridge is becoming more uncertain as his contract enters its final year.

Old Trafford insiders claim that negotiations on a transfer for the 24-year-old are about to start.

Mason Mount

Mount is valued at around £55 million by United, far less than Chelsea’s estimate of £85 million.

Given Ten Hag’s intention to add the attacker to his ranks next season, the Red Devils could be willing to raise their original assessment of Mount.

However, it is obvious that United intends to sign Mount this summer, and the mystery surrounding the Blues academy graduate’s future is expected to dominate the offseason.

In addition to United, Mikel Arteta wants to capitalize on his team’s second-place success this season, so Mount has interest from both Arsenal and United.

In order to rebuild his midfield after a difficult season, Jurgen Klopp is actively seeking a deal for Mount with Liverpool. In a perfect scenario, Mauricio Pochettino, the next Chelsea manager, would love Mount to sign a new contract.
